Chapter 8 of 21

Timeline — queue of talks

How to put talks in a queue and run them one after another.

What it is for
The Timeline is today’s queue of talks. You start the first one and switch to the next with one button — or the program moves on by itself (Auto Next).
Who can use it
Operator in the program; moving to the next talk also from Stream Deck and a phone.
Where to find it
Timer tab → Presentation Timeline card.

1Timeline card

  • 1 Add — choose lectures from the list to append to the end of the queue.
  • 2 AUTO NEXT — when a talk ends the program starts the next one by itself.
  • 3 Play — starts the first talk (or resumes the queue).
  • 4 Next — ends the current talk and starts the next one.
  • 5 Clear all — removes all items from the queue (lectures stay on the list).
  • 6 Reset — starts the queue again: all talks go back to Waiting.
  • 7 From agenda… — loads the queue from the conference agenda.
  • 8 Items — number, title, speaker, time and state.
  • 9 Summary — how many talks are finished, total and remaining time.
  • 10 Schedule… — automatic start of the queue at a chosen time (next chapter).

2Queue item

  • 1 Time of the talk.
  • 2 State — ON AIR, next, Waiting or Completed.
  • 3 ▲ and 4 ▼ — move the item up / down in the queue.
  • 5 ▶ — starts this talk right away.
  • 6 × — removes the item from the queue (the lecture stays on the list).

3Adding to the queue

  • The window shows lectures that are not in the Timeline yet.
  • 1 From conference… — lectures assigned to a conference.
  • 2 Select all (next to it: deselect all).
  • 3 Check box next to a lecture.
  • 4 Add selected — appends the selected lectures to the end of the queue.

4Queue from the agenda

  • 1 Conference — choose which agenda to load the sessions from.
  • 2 Preview — times, titles and durations of the sessions.
  • 3 Load to Timeline — replaces the current Timeline with the agenda sessions.

Result: The conference name and the Refresh from agenda button appear above the queue — it loads changes from the agenda without interrupting the running talk.

5Running the talks

  • 1 Current talk — marked ON AIR; the clock counts down its time. Below it: which talk is next.
  • 2 Next — the next talk (also available on Stream Deck).
  • 3 AUTO NEXT — turn it on if the talks should follow one another without your action.
  • 4 Summary — progress of the whole queue.
