Chapter 6 of 21
Clock window and second monitor
Which screen shows the clock for the speaker and how to change it.
- What it is for
- The clock window is the picture for the speaker (TV, confidence monitor, projector). It shows the time, the current time of day, the progress bar and messages.
- Who can use it
- Operator in the program.
- Where to find it
- Settings → Secondary Display card.
1Clock window
- The window opens by itself when the program starts — on the selected monitor, in full screen.
- 1 Time of the talk.
- 2 Current time.
- 3 Progress bar.
2Choosing the monitor
- 1 Monitor list — choose the screen for the speaker. The clock window moves immediately.
- 2 Identify — each monitor shows its number for a moment.
Result: The choice is remembered — next time the clock window opens on the same monitor (if it is connected).
3With only one monitor
- Without a second monitor the clock window opens on the same screen as the program — switch between windows with Alt+Tab.
- For rehearsals and checks the Timer tab is enough — the preview shows exactly what the clock window shows.
- You can also show the speaker’s screen in a browser on another device (phone, tablet, TV with a browser) — the Remote Access tab (see Remote access).
