Chapter 9 of 21
Schedule — automatic Timeline start
How to make the queue of talks start by itself at a planned time.
- What it is for
- A schedule starts the current Timeline at the chosen time — once or every week on selected days. Before the start it can show a countdown, play a sound or ask for confirmation.
- Who can use it
- Operator in the program. TimerPRO must be running — a schedule does not launch the program.
- Where to find it
- Timer tab → Presentation Timeline card → Schedule….
1List of schedules
- 1 Schedule — when it starts, the next start and how soon, enabled options.
- 2 Start now — starts the current Timeline right away (the planned start is used up; a recurring schedule keeps starting on the next days).
- 3 Bin — deletes the schedule (the program asks for confirmation).
- 4 Counter — how many schedules are saved (up to 10).
- 5 New schedule — opens the form for a new schedule.
2New schedule
- 1 When — Once, Every day, Weekdays (Mon–Fri) or Selected days (then you tick the days of the week).
- 2 Date (one-time only) and 3 Time of the start.
- 4 Show a countdown message — how many minutes before the start and which message. Without your own message the program shows “Timeline starts in … min”.
- 5 Play a sound — a file from disk or the sound from Settings, up to 5 repeats; Test plays it.
- 6 Flash the screen and 7 System notification — at the same moment as the countdown.
- 8 Ask for confirmation before the start (no answer within 60 s = no start).
- 9 Cancel if nobody used TimerPRO for — protection against starting in an empty room (15, 30 or 60 minutes).
- Below: Write starts to the log — entries in the log file in the program profile (on by default).
- 10 Schedule — saves the schedule.
3Next start in the Timeline card
- 1 Next start — day and time.
- 2 How soon — live countdown; next to it the number of further schedules.
- 3 Details — opens the list of schedules.
- 4 Start now — start right away.
- 5 × — deletes the next schedule.
4Start confirmation
- When a schedule asks for confirmation, this window appears at the start time.
- 1 Start Timeline — starts the Timeline.
- 2 Cancel — does not start (a recurring schedule starts again at its next time).
5Missed start
- If TimerPRO was not running or the computer was asleep at the planned time, the program does not start “silently” — after launch it asks what to do.
- 1 Start now — starts the Timeline now.
- 2 Schedule again — opens the form with the same time (one-time schedules only).
- 3 Skip — skips this start.
